Narrated 'Umar bin Al Salama(رضی الله تعالیٰ عنہ):

Once I ate a meal with Allah's Prophet(صلى الله عليه واله وسلم) and I was eating from all sides of the dish.
So Allah's Prophet(صلى الله عليه واله وسلم) said to me, "Eat of the dish what is nearer to you."

Surat Al-'Imran

Khana Kabba

Friday is the best among all days

Friday is the best among all days.
Friday is an Eid for the Believers.
Adam (R.A.) was created on Friday,
He was granted entrance into Jannah on Friday,
He was descend into Earth on Friday,
He died on Friday, Qiyaamah will also take place on Friday.
Amongs the seven days of the week, Friday is the day when Allah's Special mercies are granted. It is a day of gathering for
the Muslims and rewards are increased. Many great events took place on this day, and yet take place.

The best day of the week

Rasulallah ( S.A.W.. ) has said : ' The best day of the week that the sun rises on, is the day of Jum'ah.

' The night of Jum'ah ( the night between Thursday and Friday ) is more blessed and the day of Jum'ah is most blessed.

IMPORTANT ASPECT OF FRIDAY

Jummah Ke Din Kasrath Se Daroodh Padha Karen

Ghussal e Jumma

Importance of Ghussal e Jumma:
"Jumay K Din K Ghussal Ko Faramosh Na Karo, Kiu K Jummay Ka Ghussal 1 Haftay K Gunaho Ka Kufara Hai."

Jum'a-tul-Mubarak

Of all the religious obligations of a Muslim, the most important is Prayer of Salat. It is compulsory for all Muslims, men and women equally. The Holy Quran states: "Observe Prayer in the prescribed form.. It is enjoined on the believers to be performed at its appointed times." (4:104) All the compulsory Prayers should be performed in congregation if possible. On Friday, however, a special mid-day Prayer Service is held in place of Zuhr Prayer. This is called Jum'a Prayer. Of all the Prayers, none is so essential to be offered in congregation as the Jum'a Prayer. The Jum'a, in fact, is the greatest Muslim festival. Muslims are asked to leave all their worldly pursuits when they are called tothe Friday Prayer, and assemble in mosque to offer this Prayer with due observence of all its requirements. The Holy Quran states: O ye who believe, when the call is made for Prayer on Friday, hasten to the rememberance of God and leave off all business, that is better for you, if you only knew. (62:10) The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Your best day is Friday, so you should be diligent on that day in calling down blessings on me, for your blessings are conveyed to me." (Sunan Abu Daud) "The best of days on which sun rises is Friday; on that day was Adam created, on that day he was admitted to the Garden and on that day was he expelled therefrom." (Muslim) In regards to the preparation for Friday Prayer Service, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "A Muslim takes a bath on a Friday, makes himself thoroghly clean, and uses scented oil or just some perfume. Having thus freshened up, he goes to the mosque. He occupies a place without disturbing people sitting on his right and left. He offers the prescribed prayers, and when the Imam appears, he listens to him in silence. May God forgive his sins between that Friday and the last." (Bukhari) Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, relates that concerning Friday the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "There is on that day a brief period of time during the service when whatever supplication a Muslim servant of Allah makes is granted." He indicated with his hand that the period is very short. (Muslim) Abu Said Khudri, may Allah be pleased with him, relates that hte Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, said: " Bath on Friday is obligatory on every adult Muslim." (Muslim) Ammar bin Yasir, may Allah be pleased with him, relates that he heard the Holy Prophet, peace be upon him, say: "The length of a person's Prayer and the brevity of his sermon testify to his intelligence. Make your Prayer long and your sermon short." (Muslim)

words of wisdom from our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

FOLLOWING are some words of wisdom from our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

· The Muslim is he from whose tongue and hand fellow Muslims are safe, and the emigrant is he who abandons what Allah has prohibited. (Bukhari)

· None of you believes till I am dearer to him than his father, his child and all mankind. (Bukhari, Muslim)

· He who is not trustworthy has no Faith, and he who does not keep his covenant has no religion. (Baihaqi)

· What is Faith? When your good deed pleases you and your evil deed grieves you, you are a believer. What is sin? When a thing disturbs (the peace of) your heart, give it up. (Ahmad)

· The major sins are associating other objects of worship with Allah, disobedience to parents, murder, and deliberate perjury. (Bukhari, Muslim)

· There are three signs of a hypocrite: When he speaks he speaks lies, when he makes a promise he breaks it, and when he is trusted he betrays his trust. (Bukhari)

· Avoid the seven noxious things. Associating anything with Allah, practicing magic, taking a life that Allah has declared inviolate without a just cause, devouring usury, consuming the property of an orphan, running away from the battlefield and slandering chaste women who are believers but heedless. (Bukhari, Muslim)

· When a man dies no further reward is recorded for his actions, with three exceptions: Sadaqa which continues to be given, or knowledge from which benefit continues to be reaped, or the prayers of a good son for his dead father. (Muslim)

· If anyone removes (one of the) anxieties of this world from a believer, Allah will remove (one of the) anxieties from him on the Day of Resurrection; if one smoothes the way for one who is destitute, Allah will smooth the way for him in this world and the next; and if anyone conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the next. Allah helps a man as long as he helps his brother. If anyone pursues a path in search of knowledge Allah will thereby make easy for him a path to paradise. (Muslim)

· He who goes out in search of knowledge is in Allah’s path till he returns. (Tirmidhi, Darimi)

· The search for knowledge is an obligation laid on every Muslim. (Ibn Majah, Baihaqi)

· The one who would have the worst position in Allah’s sight on the Day of Resurrection would be a learned man who did not profit from his learning. (Darimi)

· A man is granted supplication provided he does not ask for anything sinful or for breaking ties of relationship. (Muslim)

· You should have two characters which Allah likes; gentleness and deliberation. (Muslim)

· Nothing but supplication averts the decree, and nothing but righteousness prolongs life. (Tirmidhi)

· People will not sit remembering Allah without the angels enveloping them, mercy covering them, peace descending on them. (Muslim)

· He who remembers his Lord and he who does not are like the living and dead. (Bukhari, Muslim)

· A time will come to mankind when man will not care whether what he gets comes from a lawful or an unlawful source. (Bukhari)
